Disaster risk finance
-
Governments face significant fiscal challenges in preparing for and responding to natural disasters. Relief, recovery, and reconstruction efforts often need to balance limited fiscal capacity against urgent economic, social and humanitarian demand pressures.
We work with national governments and international organisations like the World Bank to help design and implement appropriate disaster risk financing strategies to better prepare for disaster events and build national resilience.
