Governance design

  • It all begins with governance...

Getting your organisational ‘house’ in order requires having the right governance frameworks in place.

Effective governance avoids being a ‘compliance burden’, and enables timely, ethical and appropriate decision making, which builds organisational accountability, reputation and culture.

Key elements of good governance design involve:

    • accessability - information which is easily found and understood

    • effectiveness - guidance that helps, not hinders, decision making

    • interconnectedness - linkages within and beyond the organisation, and

    • collective leadership - culture and behaviours which encourage organisation-wide leadership and participation.

We assess the integrity and practicability of governance frameworks through desktop reviews, interviews, workshops and surveys, and identify strategies and options to improve organisational performance.
